Cicchetteria, Italian - Limassol

I can be pretty picky when it comes to Italian having worked in Italian dining for many years. I thought the selection on the menu was ok, but not very exciting. Pretty standard throughout. Hoped for something a bit more adventurous. The setting is stunning. The building is beautiful. It was a bit cold.. but I just put that down to the weather. The service was fine. The main guy waiting on us was decent, witty, competent. However, we made it clear we would need individual bills from the start. They said that was fine, then didn't do it, so paying was an absurdly drawn out process.. from asking for the bill to the last person paying was easily over half an hour, we told our friends to just leave instead of waiting as it was taking so long. The food was acceptable. I opted for a simple margherita thinking that such a classic is usually a good barometer, it came with no basil. I don't give a three star too often but this was unfortunately one such occasion that justifies it.

Especially the food was delicious! Very romantic and cozy environment, courteous and attentive staff, although it was full. Will come back

Beautiful restaurant, fantastic food with beautiful ambience..I highly recommend it. Will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic restaurant that we visited twice during our stay in Cyprus. 2. We were greeted like old friends. We had several pastas, steak speciality with Parmesan, fantastic desserts, excellent wine Lugana and a service that was exceptional. From pastas to extra mentioned Spaghetti Carbonara, the best Carbonara I ever had. This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Limassol area and we will visit the restaurant again next year. Hidden gem, excellent service staff, impeccable food and amazing wine selection. Been a few times and will continue to go back.
