Sonia - Lima

Hidden on the side streets of the Chorrillos district. Do not look for a shield on the front, there are no. We found it because the fisherman's boat is parked in front. Our group shared ceviche platters. The freshest ingredients perfectly seasoned with traditional ceviche flavors (lime, cilantro, onion). Delicious! Get a photo with Fischer Fred (Sonia's man). Anthony Bourdin also visited here.

Great place. Delicious Ceviche after the great tour we did. We enjoyed so much the atmosphere, music, decorations, great service and authentic cuisine of the Chorrillos district. The area where we were is so traditional and has this long history of so many things that have happened here. Absolutely brilliant!

Glad to hear it is still there. I lived in Barranco from 1990 1996 and went there frequently for lunch. Food was fabulous and very affordable. I went back to Lima, and of course to Sonia, four years later, and the waiters remembered me. I really must have gone there a lot one of my many great memories from Lima!
