Restaurante Rovegno - Lima

The tourist went randomly into this place. the workers are very nice, also I speak zero Spanish. the place is filled with white collar workers so it justified the price of $15 pen for two baked goods. it is always beautiful peru and Italian fusion eating independent.

Eating was good, although the choices for an Italian restaurant were limited and overpriced. it's a hole in the wall, but not what I expected. the service was fast.

Large Italian bakery restaurant. mrs. rovegno is a wonderful host. excellent value.

The bakery and the small café side of the restaurant are totally old school. they almost expect a table of mobster to be drilled in a rectangle. the biscuits and assorted bakeries are all authentic, old-school italian. so good and fun to...Mix and fit a box of cookies to take out. the restaurant on the other side . . . it is in the necessity of a menu category. eating is stuck in a timewarp and needs to overtake a complete kitchen. Takes the bakery and restaurant square rate a solid 3 stars. a visit worth, but not a special “from their way” trip.
