Chabuca Restaurant and Bar - Lima

While staying at the Atton San Isidro, we had dinner a couple of times here, and we were always satisfied. Their sopa de lomo beef soup with a fried egg and pasta was good. The tiradito a sort of raw fish excellent. Their crispy fish...with leche de tigre sauce was great. Service was courteous but slow. Prices were normal for an elegant restaurant in San Isidro. Their breakfast starts at 630 AM which is very convenient when you have an early flight. Breakfast buffet was good and the variety was satisfactory. No eggs cooking station and the available scrambled eggs should improve, however.

Don't look for the restaurant sign on the street as it is inside the Atton Hotel. I passed it twice back and forth before I gleened the name through the window. Purpose: dinner. Setting: Very nice. I sat on the patio attention non smokers and visitors...with kids, the patio is smoking . The hotel design is very modernistic and I had the calmness of the outdoor pool on the one side and an atrium like setup on the other. One problem barely any lighting, so had trouble reading the menu. Meal: Had Oriental Tuna Ceviche a waiter's recommendation among a few other appetizers. Good choice. The marinade was a bit too strong, but didn't take away from the experience. Personally I like things tart and citrusy. For main black scallop risotto. It came surprisingly fast and was excellent. It was surrounded by fried octopus and breaded pieces of fish. That last bit was a mistake, in my view. The fish was too salty and took away from the taste of the risotto, which, as I mentioned, was excellent. A bite of an onion that was there for garnish and a sip of pisco sour chased the salty fish from my palate and allowed me to revert to enjoying the rest of the dish. Service: prompt effective excellent. Bill: with tip, came to 120 soles approx. USD40 OR CAD55 for what looks an upscale restaurant in what looks an upscale hotel I'd say not bad.

Have a good breakfast and coffee every morning, Peruvian foods also good. ...... I like it.... yummy yummy ;

Easy going restaurant particularly for single diners. Good choices on menu, well presented nice quality food served by friendly staff. Good value.

Es mi primera vez en el Hotel, pero lo elegí por que conozco la cadena (Chile) y por las criticas de su restaurante, y no me equivoque.Solo pude aprovecharlo una vez, pero suficiente para entender que es muy bueno. El Atun rojo con salsa de Sauco realmente estaba MUY bueno. la carta de vinos es acotada pero bien. De postre, suspiro de maracuyá que fue otra genialidad.La atención muy buena también
