The Sunflower - Lily Dale

Has great, friendly survice, nice cool drinks and really good desserts. Good place to go to get food in lilydale.

I ate here a few years ago and it was a horrid experience. A friend and I decided to stop in on 7/24/18, and our experience was totally different. The place is clean, there is indoor cafe and outdoor porch seating (with ceiling fans. It was humid! , the staff was very friendly and accomodating, they have a nice selection of food (homemade quiche every day, muffins, salads, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, soup , fresh blueberry lemonade, pie, ice cream... I totally forgot to take a picture of the menu, because I was overwhelmed with the choices! The service was fast, and the food was delicious. The manager even stopped over to see how everything was. It was a fantastic respite from a full day of exploring!

My review is almost identical to one posted earlier. **** overpriced microwaved quiche. Go hungry instead.

The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Orders were taken quickly, and the milkshakes were delicious.

Currently, the café only accepts cash. Sunflower Café has undergone several changes in name and concept over the years, but it has now established a fantastic array of flavored iced teas, lemonades, and smoothies. You really can't go wrong with their quiches or salads. They also offer a selection of baked goods and desserts. Just a heads up: if you're ordering a sandwich or a hot dish that requires more preparation, the wait times may be a bit longer, so plan your choice accordingly. Seating is available either under the outdoor patio or at one of the nearby picnic tables.
