Perfect, I could eat there everyday for the rest of my life! Service and food is awesome!!!
I came with my boyfriend during an afternoon, because we have visited a lot of similar restaurants in Toronto. We always love when the plateau comes out with all the little dishes and we get to add them to the hot broth. The ceremony of adding each topping in the broth is quite enjoyable. It makes you feel more involved in the cooking. I have nothing bad to say about the meal itself. However, the service was not particularly superb. They spoke Mandarin to us immediately. I happen to speak it, but not my boyfriend and it made us a little uncomfortable. There was also another table nearby who, upon receiving a single plateau, started splitting the tiny portions of toppings amongst them. After a little while, the waitress came by and scolded/made fun of them and stated that the plateau was for a single person. The other person 's toppings are already in the broth. She then refused to give them a new plateau, because it was their fault . However, she never explained how it works and she did not tell the one patrons that his toppings are already in the broth. All in all, it 's a good spot for a warm/boiling hot bowl of noodles. However, you might want to do a quick google search first to learn how it works, because the staff will assume that you know and refrain from explaining anything to you
Decent broth and chewy rice noodles. I got the first one which was the spicy pork broth. It was flavorful and not too spicy. The noodles were chewy and not soggy even after simmering it in the broth. You get 3 slices of pork, 1 fish tofu and some veggies to mix in your broth. One of my friends tried the kimchi fried and it was spicer than mine but also delicious. The service was quick and the staff were nice and friendly. Our waiter took the time to explain the different levels of spiciness, from the least spicy to the most spicy. The place is located on the second floor, next to the other restaurant that sells pretty much the same thing. It's pretty clean and the decos are nice inside. Would definitely come back to try the other ones.
Just got back from a lunch here with my boyfriend. I tried B9 mushrooms and chicken leg soup with noodles. It was very tasty. If you love mushrooms, go for it, you won't regret it. The soup had mushrooms flavour and there were 3-4kinds of mushrooms in the soup with a big chicken leg which was juicy. A lot of noodles as well (extra for free . I've tried many flavour and the mushrooms one is my favourite so far. Decor is good as usual. Toilet are clean and renovated. Staff is nice. Quick service. Good price. Will come back and have the mushrooms soup again :
