La Palma

As a person who’s worked in the customer service industry for years, I really appreciate the incredible amounts of patience, care, and interest they show their every single customer. I’ve been at La Palma twice and both times I receive amazing food and drink recommendations from the staff who have taken the time to learn everything about their products and recommend items they personally believe in. Not only will I be coming back to this bar, I will be coming back to this hotel because of the incredible staff and quality of food/drinks at this bar.

I have stayed at the AC Marriott downtown Montréal over many years. I frequent the lounge bar, and I must say that the staff is exemplary in their service and knowledge of cocktails. I am a Tanqueray dirty martini afficionado, and it is always consistent and presented perfectly chilled. Dinner was the tuna steak. Beautiful presentation, perfectly cooked, and the portion was just right. I enjoyed the mango cheesecake for dessert. In all, I highly recommend the European flavor of the hotel and the congenial staff.

Good service! We only went for drinks and appetizers, everything we order was delicious.
