Food was great, not a bad price considering everything is up, and it was a nice looking spot. The service was the issue.I got the sense that they were cleaning up post rush to reset and there was a high level of stress from the manager that was affecting all servers, even though the place was close to empty at this point.Being seated was fast but getting served for everything else was extremely slow! To the point that I felt that I was being ignored.I'd go to eggspectation again but not this location.

Eleni was fantastic! We’re visiting from Virginia Beach, VA, and had a wonderful breakfast with our family.

Parking tip: They provide a free parking voucher for your exit from the lot.

The waitstaff was disorganized and slow. On our first visit, the waitress seemed unsure of her responsibilities. The second day, we had a millennial who acted entitled and appeared more interested in getting a tip than providing good service. The eggs were tasty, and the pancakes were mostly good, but the potatoes tasted like cardboard.

During my visit from Ontario, I decided to try this restaurant for breakfast, and it was a big mistake! We were seated, but no one came to offer us water or take our order, despite three other tables being occupied, so it wasn’t overly busy. I eventually had to stop a waitress to ask if it would take long for service, and she simply told us she was the only one working, making us feel unwelcome and as if we should leave. The service was terrible! Restaurants should aim to keep customers, not drive them away. She could have easily reassured us by saying she would be with us shortly, but instead, she seemed eager to see us go. We ended up leaving and went to Allo mon coco, where we were seated and served in just five minutes with impeccable service! It’s too bad I didn’t catch the server’s name. I will never return to this restaurant and certainly won’t recommend it to other Ontarians visiting the beautiful city of Montreal!
