Ono - Lihue

The best breakfast on the island can be found at Ono, which means "good." They offer a diverse menu, featuring everything from omelettes and banana pancakes to the local favorite loco moco, which consists of a burger patty topped with eggs and gravy served over rice. Ono makes their own papaya-pineapple jam, and their syrups are served hot to keep your pancakes warm. It can get quite busy, so be prepared for a possible wait. They also serve lunch.

This place was fantastic! We were looking for a great breakfast spot that offered a local flavor, and this restaurant was just perfect. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were greeted with smiles, and our orders were taken right away. Our server offered us great suggestions for our breakfast choices. My wife chose the bacon, avocado, and tomato omelet, while I had the Portuguese black pudding. We also shared a short stack of tropical pancakes with coconut syrup. Everything was absolutely delicious!

On Wednesday it won't wait at 9 o'clock. the service was fast considering that the diner was full. beautifully roasted coffee with a hearty breakfast set. crispy hash browns, tasteful Portuguese sausage, extra butter on the toast, fluffy egg! a great place to fill up before riding with the bike.

This place is fantastic! During my first visit, I had the eggs, fried rice, and Portuguese sausage, which quickly became my favorite. On my second visit, I tried the tropical pancakes, and they were so fresh! The coconut syrup was just the right amount of sweetness. We can't wait to come back and eat here again!

This quaint family-run restaurant offers delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection on the menu as well as daily specials. The staff was attentive and took great care of us, even during busy hours. I appreciated the cozy setup, although it did have a casual diner feel. They have limited parking and a unisex restroom. Overall, a fantastic breakfast experience!
