Kukui's At Kalapaki Beach - Lihue

The food is overpriced for the amount delivered to the table. Service was very slow and not great as food arrived before drink orders.

In my opinion, since this is on the beach, they can charge more and give you less. The feed was mediocre at best. Our server Kevin was a tentative and accommodating. Overall I would not go back to Kukui’s.

This restaurant does not take reservations! In fact, they stop serving breakfast at 10am. It was lucky we arrived just before 10am so we were able to have breakfast there. OpenTable messed up! The food was great, but the pigeons weren't.

The music was nice and the tiki torches are a nice touch with a Bay view. The food is just ok but it was very convenient because we were staying at the hotel. The breakfast is also just ok.

This is basically beach food. For a resort restaurant it is a great disappointment. The menu is limited for lunch and Dinner. The breakfast menu is good though. They need to improve the service as staff are spread really thin. The mixed drinks are watered down.
