Il Rifugio Dell'aquila - Ligonchio

A fantastic place, a real jewel of the mountains. Incredible and amazing scenery from the restaurant and terraces. We enjoyed the spa and sauna today and it was very relaxing, clean, modern and everything worked perfectly. The meal afterwards was of a very high standard and also offered more unusual dishes as well as all of the best local dishes. We had antipasti, pasta, lobster fish and lamb and all was perfectly cooked. Presentation was second to none and the staff were very welcoming. The establishment itself has a beautiful setting and lots of facilities. The owners make their own balsamic vinegar, bread, pasta and sauces... I highly recommend giving this place a visit. There are rooms for an overnight stay and there is also a large indoor heated pool! We shall definitely be going back. Enjoy.

The position is superb, immersed in the heart of the Appennine, with a magnificent view. the structure all in wood is really characteristic, however in the rooms there are details that should be remedied (TV channels not available, flying cables, shampoo containers in the empty showers,) in short it would take more attention to the details, given the tone that the shelter wants to give itself. very nice restaurant, where the owner mara and her daughter make themselves in four for guests (and this is really appreciable. ) the other two waiters, however of good will, are not at the height of the necessary service. the quality of food is however very good. It would be a shame to have the maximum of votes.

I have visited this place in the past. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is great. From my point of view the main problem they have is the service rather slow and lacking of enthusiasm!
