The n atmosphere was perfect, and the food was amazing.
Only problem is they can take sometime to attend to customers
Nice area but nothing extraordinary about the food.
Decided to visit L'Odika for lunch while in Libreville based on the numerous good reviews across various platforms. The first thing that stands out is the ambience. Set in a lush tropical garden it a stark contrast to the street outside. The main structure of the restaurant is open on all sides like a large verandah and the whole vibe of the place is very pleasant. It seemed quite busy on a sunday afternoon and we were lucky to get a seat at one of the edges looking out into the garden. Another nice thing is that they have menus available in English in addition to French. Although unfortunately none of the staff on duty spoke any English. Managed to convey to them that we were vegetarian because the menu did not have much vegetarian food on it and they were nice enough to conjure up veggie plates for us. Started off with some delicious lentil fritters and for the main course we had a cassava patty, okra in a spicyish gravy, yellow plantains and sauteed spinach. Some nice cold Régab to wash it down with on a hot day. For dessert, we had the creme brulee. They actually made a mistake on our bill and called us back after we stepped out to correct their error. It was nice of them because we would have been completely oblivious. The food was good if not really memorable. The stand outs were the lentil fritters and cassava patty. A nice place to visit when in Libreville.
