Didn't expect to find some of the best sushi I've ever had in a strip mall in Liberty, Missouri, but here we are. Absolutely blown away by the quality and value offered at Fuji. Hubs and I split four rolls: 2 basic rolls we always love, a Hawaiian roll (sounded weird on paper, but tasted amazing), and a Las Vegas roll (essentially a souped-up Philly roll that's deep fried; can't go wrong by taking a tasty thing and deep frying it).
Yikes…the food here is the biggest waste of money. Their sushi is a complete joke, when you order sushi you expect raw fish and fresh product. The pink sludge they pass of as tuna shouldn’t even be considered cat food! No wonder all of their rolls are covered in a ton of sauce and fried crunchy batter, they are covering up some kind of mystery seafood product. You all should be ashamed of yourself for what you serve here!
This was an incredibly disappointing experience. The service here is worth zero stars. I’m only giving two because the food wasn’t bad. Not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but fine. It took us over an hour to get our food, and our server only checked on us 3 times total, including when she brought our food out. On May 29th, I purchased one Las Vegas Roll, one extra eel sauce and one crab rangoon. I ordered via Delivery through Fuji Sushi Grill's official website. I received my food and it was very wet to the point that it was soggy, cold, and mushy. But that wasn't the problem, the problem is my food had hair in it.
