We like to visit country pubs for lunch occasionally. Today was the leyburn pub. We got 2x whiting and 2x works burger and a kids meal. The whiting came out and was the size of a big fish fillet. We are Normally used to having whiting fillets that are not much bigger than 15cm. It tasted ok so no drama there just skeptical on it actually being whiting. The works burgers tasted good but maybe a little under sauced. They again say on the menu it comes with steak and it was clearly not steak but a burger patty. Also no pineapple on the works burger. Not sure if it's meant to have it but I'm normally expecting pineapple on a works. Tasted good nonetheless.

Great to be able to get a nice cold beer after a long day at the Leyburn Motor Sprints. The staff are friendly. There is plenty of space to sit, with a view of the starting line of out the back of the pub looking over the Vintage Caravan display that was there this year.

Went there for a sunday lunch with family ,all meals 10 out 10 , i had the calamari and salad ,one of the best calamari i have had for a long time,, pub has a great atmosphere ,with very freindly staff,highly reccomend

Stopped here for a meal ,traditional aussie pub good food ample portions and good service.Sometimes you just need a change from the elaborate "fine Dining " and this fitted the bill
