The Break Room - Lexington

This restaurant is lovely and situated perfectly for pre-gaming before a Burl show. They have a fantastic fire pit! However, we had an unfortunate experience with a "regular" who took it upon himself to passive-aggressively confront me for ordering a homemade whiskey sour. He remarked, "Yeah, these people coming in here asking for craft cocktails are ruining the atmosphere." There were only three people in the bar! If they want to stay in business, they should start serving craft cocktails and treating customers kindly. I also mentioned a cat that was on the bar, saying something like, "Aww, look at the cat," and the bartender immediately walked over to hang a bar towel up to block our view of the cat. It felt very passive-aggressive. All I'm saying is, just be nice, serve drinks worth having, offer good food, and stay open!

This is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy some drinks. I strongly recommend visiting the Break Room if you find yourself in Lexington's Distillery District.

Great real bar. great mood. in the night when we were there was a good band, and outside a falling fire pit went unbelievably.

Every visit in the pause was fantastic and more pleasant than the last! sitting on Halloween weekend was the best accident I would have been looking for! the local bands were great, the cheap beer, and the staff as friendly as ever even under the crazy capacity.
