Stella's Kentucky Deli - Lexington

Very nice lunch in a cozy atmosphere. service and eating were great. it was a good idea that we didn't have to be too full to taste their delicious looking deserts.

Try it here. Vegan/vegetarian options are stellar. the lens soup is excellent, really spiced and dusted with carrots and tweepers and crumbles. the tlt, tofu, salate and tomaten, is really fresh and tasty. the star of this sandwiches, the tomatoes, absolutely delivered, as expected perfectly firm, mature and fully tasteful. the different flavors mix well and the vegan cheddar and Mayo/clothing are a home run with the tofu. it has an embarrassing bite, jalapeños? it was sweet and tasty with real, lingering heat, although quite tasty, a little above my threshold. I might try to push through. the coffee is rich and bold. Beyond that, the service was very friendly, and it was very knowledgeable about the place and its history. this old house had many purposes and was built in the late 1800s with very beautiful architecture. I would definitely go out of the way to get back here. highly recommended!

This little deli serves delicious food. Today was my first time dining in. I had the blt with egg and tomato bisque; it was great! Also, the best chess pie I have ever tasted!

Cute place with fun atmosphere. Street parking without a problem. Burger was superb.

For anyone considering having a meal at Stella’s deli.. DONT! We ordered 80 dollars worth of food and all one the burger were still RAW and we were missing the chips and pickle for all meals. I called back and requested them to remake the burgers and I would bring the others back. They RE-COOKED one of the half burgers that was eaten from and I bite in to mine and it’s more RAW than the first ones!
