Sonny's Bbq - Lexington

The loaded tickets are absolutely amazing! Our food was fantastic. The fried okra was incredible—fresh and not frozen. The giant Cobb salad was impressive, and I can honestly say it had some of the best coleslaw I've ever tasted. The service was just as wonderful as the food! The only downside was the waitress’s Ohio State gear, which I wasn't too fond of.

Don't expect typical fast food here. You won't be disappointed! The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and we didn't wait long for our meals. The atmosphere is lovely too!

They would think that a business is as new as this, not the kind of problems that my man and I have experienced tonight. I asked him to get us some sonny’s bbq and what a mistake. he was the only one in the driveway, except a woman waiting behind him. he had commanded him and waited at the window. he was privig to the woman behind him in the phone call of the lead that had called sonnys and asked why she had to wait as she had ordered her to lead and it was supposedly ready. they brought her to eat and she went. After waiting 30 minutes after his order and receiving his reception, which had a timestamp, he finally knocked on her window from frustration. they tried to excuse his waiting by saying it was only 9 minutes, but he showed them that it was 30, and our food was given to him. no apology that he had to wait so long, only a little upset that he had disturbed her by knocking on the window. the food was sub par, simped portions on the meat, and the sweet potato had to have been reheated yesterday. not only did I get a 1/3 cup pork most, a part of it had gristle and big fat dumps. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. They weren't even busy, and now we know why. I have eaten at the sonny’s in somerset, the sonny’s in richmond and both were so much better than this place, making me wonder if they are even the same firm.

We visited Sonny's at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Our server was quick, and we ordered the $50 family meal. However, I was disappointed with some of the food. The cornbread was room temperature, and the cook forgot to include our brisket on the plate. When the brisket finally arrived, it was partially charred on one side. The rest of the food was excellent. Unfortunately, our server also forgot to bring our drinks until we had to remind them. It might have just been an off day because my previous visit was much better. I would consider returning, but another experience like this might lead me to seek out a different BBQ place.
