I absolutely loved the vibe of this restaurant! It reminded me of cozy coffee shops in the mountains of Europe and the northern US. They have put a lot of effort into offering outdoor activities at the shop, which looks absolutely wonderful. Currently, they have a kid-friendly pumpkin patch. The coffee is excellent and they also have beer on draft, which is a nice touch. The service was great and I had a delicious breakfast. Prices range from $1 to $10 per person. I highly recommend trying the Cinnamon Roll, Macaroons, Mocha Shot of Espresso, Strangery-Tropical Punch, Fruits, Bagels, Pizza, Cappuccino, Angry Orchard, Blue Raspberry, Pretzels, Cabernet Sauvignon, Marshmallow Treats, Blue Hawaiian Chinese Cake, Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Drip Coffee, Bourbon Caramel, Apple, Bourbon Crime, and Strawberry.

I ordered a chai latte with coconut milk and bourbon caramel shot along with a cinnamon roll. Both items were served so hot that I had to wait at least 20 minutes to consume them. The cinnamon roll seemed to have been microwaved for too long, as the center was hard and almost burnt. The chai latte was unpleasant and too hot to even test, with the lid posing a burn risk. It seemed diluted and lacked flavor, reminding me of apple cider mixed with milk. Overall, I was unimpressed and would not return. I discovered this hidden gem of a coffee shop while exploring my hometown. Second Wave is tucked away off the main road, and it has a charming and unique vibe. The best part is the outdoor space, which is a peaceful oasis. Surrounded by greenery and featuring fire pits and yard games, it's a great place to relax with friends. My Chai Latte was delicious, and the atmosphere was enchanting. Whether you're a local looking for a quiet spot or a traveler seeking something special, this place is a must-visit. I also enjoyed checking out the pumpkin patch in the back! I'm not sure what other seasonal activities they offer, but I will definitely be back to find out. Charming, delightful, and inspirational spot to enjoy quiet time in the library or outside in the beautiful scenery ... or even socialize with some friends while playing games ... with some great coffee, beer, and baked goods!
