Ramsey's Diner Tates Creek - Lexington

I waited 30 minutes for my food at curbside. After 20 minutes, I called, and the waitress reassured me it was on its way. However, 30 minutes later, I called the manager, and suddenly my order appeared. I ordered my usual hot brown, but when I opened the box, it was stone cold. It was frustrating to wait so long, be given false information, and then receive cold food. My order was placed at 3 PM, so there was really no excuse for this experience.

My experience at Ramsay's was pretty standard. The food was good, and the service was excellent. However, I really dislike when I order a sandwich and receive chunks of meat instead of a proper meat patty. Every bite tends to push the meat and toppings out onto the plate, leaving me with mostly lettuce on the bread and everything else scattered on the plate. It's not like this happens every time, but when it does, it can be quite frustrating.

What used to be a great restaurant is no longer the same. I placed my order and arrived at curbside pickup at the scheduled time. After texting and calling five times (and being on hold for an extra 15 minutes), I was informed there would be another 10-minute wait. My home is just a mile away. When I finally got my food, it was cold. The catfish, which used to be crispy, was now mushy, and the beets were undercooked. Unfortunately, there's a good chance I won't be returning. It's disheartening, especially since I've been a loyal customer for 20 years.

Best fried banana peppers in the world, and the traditional breakfast is completely worth it, far more food than I can possibly eat! Love that they have multiple types of courtright available as well, ????????????????????????????????????????

Wonderful!. We had just arrived into town and wanted to eat in a local restaurant. This place made us feel welcome, had great service and great food. Good portion sizes. Make sure to get slices of pie. We took ours back to our hotel room and had them later. The entire experience was great!
