Started out pleasant. Ordered drinks and a blooming onion. We wait. Server takes our order for our meal and salads were brought out fast. Still waiting on our onion. Thought maybe short staffed in kitchen didn't really think much about it until other tables seated after us getting theirs. So we asked the server. She didn't put it in and said our food was almost out. No point for a app now. So we wait. My husbands full rack of ribs were cold my steak ordered medium came out rare. Sent back bring the replacements out the ribs were great. My steaks was a piece of leather. Won't be back. We swore off Outback a couple years ago for poor service but was gifted a gift card for Christmas thought we would give another try. Yup. Never again. Left hungrier than I came.
Neither the Fayette Mall nor the Hamburg location is good. Service is slow and staff seems confused. On our last visit to the Hamburg location, our food order had gone in and 20 minutes later, staff came to our table to tell me what l ordered wasn't available. My husband ordered a strip steak and was brought a ribeye, then staff argued with him when he pointed that out. Our last attempt to eat at the Fayette Mall location was negative in that, that wait staff was also confused about everything. We had our drink, a blooming onion and then gave up on them and left. I will go back at a later date only because l have a gift card l need to use...
Went to visit a few friends for an outing. The restaurant was decently filled with a few patrons. However, service was slow and the restaurant was filled with many more patrons by the time our food was received. I ordered the salmon with rice and sweet potato. It was okay.
We had lunch at Outback just before Christmas. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. Our waitress was awesome. The food, however, was terrible. The fried chicken sandwich came on a normal size bun, but the chicken covered only half. It was also cooked twice as long as it needed, which gave it the consistency of a hockey puck. There were maybe 15 to 20 fries on the plate. And it was over $13, so I think my expectations should have been higher. It had been five years since my last visit, but this will also be my last overall. Five years ago the food was quite good. The manager should never let a plate leave the kitchen with so little protein on the bun, and with an absence of sides and lack of plating.
