I tried to order from this place about 6 times in the last months without success. the only reason why they earn a 1/2-star is that their customer service and I understood this very loose use is very consistent. each time I call, they give me an apology why they can't take a job on the phone and pick up a job for the same day. I tried to order a dozen of small cupcake size cake, I asked the young lady when she answered the phone around 18:07 clock, what is the latest I can hold a job she said let me ask her back and said oh there is no cut-off time. remember that these cakes are frozen and only have to be soaked for 20 minutes and they are on the same wise. when I thought to miss ma’am to ask someone else in the load, any question I asked her, finally she returns at 18:17 a.m. and tells me that the froster has closed for the evening, good, how late did he shut off? 615 oh? during the call, while they ask 1001 comfortably after I asked a order. yes, the cakes are large, but definitiv not worth doing with their lack of customer service.
Yum! Cake was good, icing was better. Not super sweet and Crisco-y like most icing is. It's the cream cheese and butter that makes it a flight of steps above every other cake I've had.
Beautiful shop with lots of giftknacks. Very friendly service even in a busy afternoon. Heed the name of the shop as they have nothing else but small and large bundt cakes. This is a perfect stop for getting your friend a personal single serving size bundt cake as a gift and maybe pickup a gifty wine glass or coffee mug gift at the same time. I do wish they had more exotically flavored varieties of bundt cakes... like passionfruit poppy seed or a mixed nut or fruit cake for the holidays or simply more choices of yellow cake batter based bundtslike a chocolate chip yellow cake or a strawberry cake with strawberrylime cremecheese icing or lemonlime zest yellow cake or an applewalnut bundt.I’m not a fan of white cake so I’m probably not the best judge of their numerous white cake based offerings. They do also have chocolate or red velvet bundts. I was thrilled to find out that they use cream cheese buttercream on all their cakes. These are way better than gigi’s cloyingly sweet missing the salt and zest cupcakes. The texture of these bundts is like a light fluffy cloud or a brand new mrclean magic eraser or angel food sponge cake combo. It is springy like a face makeup sponge but infinitely more delicate. The classic crustyness of the outter crust expected from a bundt cake is missing from these bundts which may not suit those who are big crust fans like me. One personal bundtlet from their small bakery case will run you 4.75 each plus tax. Erica was super friendly and thanked me for being a customer. I was not offered any spoons or forks or napkins!
Their website says hours may vary on Labor Day. Okay, we get that. It’s 85 miles round trip for us so we call to make sure they’re open or at least to get their hours for Labor Day. Their voice menu says to leave a message and they’ll call back. Great! We did leave a message but they didn’t call back. So, we call again and again. We figured they were probably busy baking cakes. So, we head out and finally get there and guess what we see a sign on the door that says they are closed on Labor Day. Couldn’t you people have just said that on your website that you would be CLOSED ON LABOR DAY???? Would that have been so much trouble because it certainly would have saved us, and maybe others, a lot of trouble had you taken one or two minutes to update your website. Come on! DO BETTER!
Ordered online. Everything ready as promised. Great tasting bundlets.
