Fida's Caribbean Cafe - Lexington

First trip in was for burger week. I LOVE fried plantains so I had to try the burger. What a surprise! The hot slaw was on point, the plantains were absolute perfection and the red beans and rice.... well, I have found my 'just gotta have it spot ' now. The atmosphere is friendly and it 's an easy spot to sit and socialize after dinner. I will definitely be back, and I am bringing the crew!

My first time here and it was delicious! Came at lunchtime during Burger Week so the menu was a little limited, but the mac cheese, hot slaw, and fried plantains were excellent. Would recommend!

I had the Barbacoa tacos with plantain for the side and they were amazing! Some of the best tacos I’ve had in Lexington. The Haitian coffee was great as well. David, the owner was super friendly and was happy to talk about his restaurant and culture. Will be back soon!

Damn good Caribbean food! We got the Chicken Curry, Plantains, and Hot Slaw I could eat it every day. David and co. are incredibly passionate about food and community. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu, very soon!

Tastey food! Amazing service, everyone is so nice and it's such a chill and inviting place to be in. I have tried everything on their menu and it's all so delicious. EVERYTHING is made in house which I think is amazing for such a small business.
