Dad's Favorites Deli - Lexington

If you only spend 30 minutes on Lexington and you haven't stopped here, then you missed the best food in Lexington by far. If you walk in this place, you can see that it is a very popular place, but the line moves quickly. If it is your first time there, then the man himself takes the time out of the busy day to tell you all about the cheese that they and the sandwiches they offer. Even if you end up at a regular and then stop coming for a while, Papa will remember you when you come back and will likely notice which sandwich you usually get when you come. There is nowhere else in the city that has the same kind of experience and personal touch if you go there once and enjoy it you can not help but back!

Great place to eat, worth waiting! Beer cheese Mac and cheese is wonderful and the pepper Jack Club was delicious! 10/10!

Since this is my first visit, if my daughter, who lives in KY, had not mentioned this place, we would never have known that this place existed. It's kind of worn out in a strip-mall, signage isn't the biggest, so you need to know where you're going. My Veggie sandwich was great. The shop person went through the whole menu as this was our first visit. My family had different meats with sandwiches and all were very happy with their choices. It was amazing that drinks were included in the sandwich. Her cheese dips looked interesting, but I couldn't bring it home, I didn't get it. Maybe next time. I definitely come back when I'm in the neighborhood.

Papa?s favorite is really our FAVORITE! The food is incredibly delicious and the service is top-notch! The owner himself (Dad) is always there, serves males and chatting. You're all so kind and I love... food and that suits this bill. My darling? Special days? are Monday and Tuesday, but must say every day, I go, my food is AMAZING!

Great hole-in-the-wall (that?s a compliment). We look to stop at unique restaurants when we travel, and we found this gem. Great sandwiches and we had in depth conversations with Dad himself. We will be back even though it?s 20 minutes out of the way. Totally worth it!
