Chipotle Mexican Grill - Lexington

My friend and I took our food. I always complain to my friend that Chipotle is Bland. But this visit had a special zing. I got the tofu. The taste consistency of the tofu is 100x that of your steak... and even sometimes your chicken. I love your clean and simple ingredients, but you need to put some more flavor options on your serving line. Even if there's something to season, you can shake on food. Like garlic, cayenne pepper, etc.

The food is great but the service at the Richmond Road, Lexington, KY location is consistently poor. On-line order on several Occasions were over 20 minutes late when I went to pick up. Tonight, one staff member working the pick-up line. About 7 other staff roaming around and no one helping the one person who is swamped. Avoid pick-up, they serve walk-ins much faster.

I go at least 1 or 2 times a week, it happened to me on several occasions that there are only 1 or 2 people present and they take too long. On this day there were no guacamole or steak, almost always they serve me very well, but other times they rushed me and I don't know if they don't listen well behind the counter, because several times (5) they serve me not everything I want or they serve me something else. I want them to take the time to be calmer and make sure that the order is correct. Another thing to hand over their technology to the cashier is difficult because they always charge me wrong, or less or they don't charge me for drinks and I have to float my card again.... all this to serve quickly. I prefer quality as speed!

While the food was tasty and portion size was actually good for a change, by the time we got through line it was all cold. The line was more than a noticable wait, and the noise level made ordering difficult. In fact, while the issue was corrected part of my order was taken wrongly while speaking at an above normal volume. 1 star for food taste, 2 stars for friendlyness and customer service, -2 stars for value of food, atmosphere (crowdedness mostly), and waiting time.

The only reason giving it 2 stars is because the lady that help us, was very nice. the food was cold the restaurant was dirty trash ever were,trash can was overfilled was the first time going to Chipotle me my wife and kids live over an hour and a half away and never go again.
