Chili's Grill - Lexington

SoI used to say, "The reason chains get to be chains is because their food is consistently good." Unfortunately, chains keep proving me wrong.

We have always had great service hereThe staff is friendly and playful (my husband & nephew like to joke around with the servers).

I've been to this Chilis a few times and the service, food, and cleanliness have been consistent.

This place only has to close. 1 star because I can't give a 0. the last two visits should not have been known, but we love the chips and salsa sooo very much. once again only less than half the restaurants, because not enough employees. I said it would be a 15 minute waiting, waited 50 before going out, though we were next to the place. three tables were left in the last 25 minutes, but they were not competent enough to find out how to take our party of 5. then we tried to ask about the parties who were gone and explain how they could take us after 50 minutes, then continued to tell me that the kitchen was secured so that they could still not sit us. it would probably have taken another hour to get even dinner so we would have left. it was completely ridiculous, people went to the left and right. the administration of this restaurant must it together or close the place.

They are definitely short staff, so be sure they have time to wait for the 10 tables that are in use. eating is quite good in that. the few people who are there are are in the regular friendly.
