Inlay Burmese Kitchen - Lewisville

Could have went to McDonald’s if I knew that the “Burmese samosa” was only potatoes wrapped in oily spring roll wraps. I thought it was supposed to be filled with onion , mint leaf, green beans and some spices ? First and definitely last time to visit this place. Service is good tho!

This is some of the best food I’ve had in my life! The food is so rich and flavorful! The pumpkin stew is stellar and I will be back every time I’m in the area!

I use to love this place. However, my recent visit tonight has left me utterly disappointed and unsatisfied. I typically order the Burmese curry with beef and the salt and pepper calamari. I don’t know if they were just having a bad day in the kitchen or the quality has gone down that bad. The curry was oily and flavorless not to mention the portion size was mediocre and definitely not worth the amount of money being spent. The calamari left me absolutely baffled the breading was almost “doughy” and not crispy on the outside like calamari should be…the sauce was even different. I am so disappointed with Inlay because the food use to be amazing making you want to come back everyday just to have another bite now it’s gone downhill.

Great food. I had the Burmese lamb and potatoes; one of my sons the chicken kebat, and the other son a seafood plate with a variety of fish and shellfish (stewed). We shared each other’s dishes and they were all delicious. The owner is delightful and was serving tables. We had a typical Burmese salad as an appetizer and was delicious as well; it could be a whole meal by itself. I highly recommend Inlay Burmese Kitchen.

I ordered 7 dishes for take out. It was spectacular. We really liked the tea leaf salad, mango salad, palatha and curry, Mandalay meeshay noodles, and the beef curry.Everything was unique tasting and I've had Myanmar food before, but this was one of the best places.If you are looking to try something new, you cannot go wrong here!
