Recreation Cafe - Lewiston

On a whim, I pulled over on my way to Winona. They had just reopened after a lengthy mandatory shutdown. Super clean, tidy and cozy. The Reuben and side of FF were delish, and Diane, which is also the owner was such a delight. Wish they were closer than they are from my house!! Thank you Diane for a really fun lunch!

Pan fried Streak sandwich with O-rings. I was concerned walking in but my meal was outstanding, staff was very friendly, price was fair because the food was so good..

Friday night specials are the night to go. Food is good and staff friendly.

Met up with a few other friends for breakfast and it was good.

Decided to drive from Rochester to try this place. Even though it was afternoon I decided to get breakfast. I had the taco omelet with toast and my partner had the patty melt and cheese curds. Everything was very good at quite reasonable prices. We plan to go back next weekend to try their seafood specials. Service is typical friendly small town and quite welcoming.
