Shady Cliff Resort - Lewisburg

The food was terrible, the service was terrible, but the view of the lake is beautiful. I'm often back to Lake Malone, but I'll never return to this restaurant. At least I could find out why they call the place 'Shady'.

It's nice for the area not what I remember being. Had an open face turkey bacon sand, the ..es was good and the lava cake delicious.

You can't just walk in and get a two-part catfish dinner as it is listed on the menu, you need to buy the buffet, no thanks

We ate in the restaurant on Saturday afternoon. They told the frit where down and only a limited menu. Half of our group did not eat to make limited menu when our food came from the orders where incorrect and calculated on 3 pieces of meals instead of 2 pieces, the waitress has not some people on Thier Food, but double invited other people in the group. But the fish was amazing and the small service we received was pretty good..

Shady Cliff is cleanest lodge rooms ever and nice furnishings clean floors- no nasty carpet! Friendly people very well maintained. Unbelievable you get a boat slip you can see from most rooms. Felt safe and will be returning many more times!!
