The Juggs - Lewes

This is a fantastic little pub! It was quite busy, but we managed to find a lovely spot in the sun. The food was excellent, and the dessert was delicious! I can't recall our server's name, but he was a man with tattoos and a cap, and he was wonderful—very friendly and engaging! I would definitely come back again.

The seating by the door is lovely. The woman after whom the pub is named would be proud of its popularity. Fishwomen, known as the joggs, used to wear fish on their heads while traversing from Brighton to Lewes. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

A fantastic establishment! It embodies the quintessential "British country pub" and is always bustling with energy. The dining options are both stylish and traditional pub fare. There is a large outdoor space shaded by trees, making it perfect for a post-walk refreshment on the downs. It really comes alive during the week!

Great pub. nice beer. tasty Sunday roast £15) with all circumcisions. also dog friendly, including a £3,50 doggy roast.

Nice food amazing ancient pub, friendly, and great beer. Also a steep but circular walk up onto the downs then back for a beer and some tasty food in and ancient village.
