Lewes Fish

The best fish and chips I’ve had. Nice and crispy and not greasy. A good price too. It was great to be able to pre order and it was ready when I arrived. Excellent service.

The food at this restaurant is freshly cooked and delicious, and the service is very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good fish and chips.

Comfortably the best Chippy in Lewes. It would be better if it opened past 9pm, but whatever time it’s open the fish is cooked to order and the batter is crisp and not too greasy. Oh, and the curry sauce is neither too watery or too gluey. Very fond of this place.

Fantastic store! Go there every week without fail! Wonderful staff. I just wish they’d stock veggie/vegan pies. Other than that, consistently faultless.

The place to go for fish chips in Lewes used to be South Street... but no longer sadly. Thought I'd give these a try... Good online ordering, decent chips batter but flavour free fish both haddock huss very disappointing.
