General Store - Lewes

I overlooked the fact that my milk was two days past its expiration date and soured until I attempted to use it in our coffee the following morning. I usually make it a point to check expiration dates! Food rating: 2/5.

Charming little general store! The cashier, Linda, could be a bit friendlier, as she sometimes seems a bit rude. Food: 5/5.

This is a fantastic spot to pick up sandwiches and essential food supplies while you're camping.

My husband and I ordered dinner there last Friday evening. We had placed a rather large order, they said with the bill being over $50, we to run your card. Fine, not a problem. They called me back and said my card did not go through. Ok,just come in and pay at the front desk. Which we did. I said to my husband check our account to make sure they did not double tap us. What he found was not only did we pay our bill, but someone else, at the tune $48 and some change. The guy at the desk said since it still pending, it should resolve it self in 3 days. So, I get home and called my bank and they told me to go back there and demand my money. So, I spoke to the manager and she said she was going to reverse both charges!!! HAHA!! We had one charge removed and not the other!!! SSSSOOO LONG STORY SHORT, WE WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE GENERAL STORE EVER
