Keystone Bagels - Levittown

I visited Keystone Bagels today and ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese to be toasted. Unfortunately, it wasn't toasted at all. When I opened it, I discovered there was meat mixed in with the cream cheese. They really need to learn the importance of using separate knives when preparing food!

This place used to be quite good, didn't it? The bagel isn't just baked; it doesn't seem fully proofed either. Then they added some seasoning on top, and I ended up with a soft, undercooked bagel. If they could have also provided an estimate of how long it would take to prepare, that would have been helpful. "Thank you, we’ll get started... click?"

Great looking, spacious, clean atmosphere. Very good taste in the F.K.S. friendly staff. Just one complaint: I ordered the F.K.S. Begal without the second meat, bacon. I thought the price should have been reflected, but I was told I'm sorry, nothing we can do. This is at best illogical. If the product costs them less in meat, it should cost customers less at checkout. A missed opportunity to impress a new customer.

I then tried another garlic bagel, which was burnt and oddly shaped, with the sausage only on one side and the egg on the other. It was overly salty, and I hadn’t even asked for any salt! Both my son and I were really disappointed with our breakfast. This place is just not worth it, and as someone who loves breakfast and has eaten at hundreds of amazing spots, I’d recommend skipping this one. I had traveled all the way up from Philly because of the reviews, but it didn’t live up to the hype. I had the steak, egg, and cheese on a garlic bagel, but it had too much garlic—almost more than bagel—and it was also burnt (see the picture). To top it off, there was hardly an ounce of steak, not enough to even cover one half, and just a tiny egg. While the atmosphere is nice and clean, the bagels were a huge letdown. Maybe I’ll give it another try if I'm ever in the area again, but I won’t be rushing back.

Fresh baked and hand made are what make this place delicious and some original recipes make this place one of a kind. Highly recommend stopping by promise you?ll be hooked as they have something for everybody also you can make your own sandwiches to order. PS coffee is tasty also they have a hot coco machine never seen one of those anywhere before.
