The menu has very good dishes that are suitable for a varied taste. Both meat lovers and vegetarians can get a good choice. In addition to her steamed pigs, the marching soup is an excellent starter. For the main course I had the shrimps with straw mushrooms. This was in a delicious sauce that also had snow puppies and carrots. The other course was beef with garlic sauce, which was another good tasting. The fried pork had green peas and cut fried eggs together with pork. In addition, this is a very good dinning choice and one of the best Chinese restaurants around. Located in the wetau mall next to BJs, there are plenty of parking spaces. A good place for family or date night.
I've been in Fortune Wheel for 20 years. Her food was always consistent and authentic. A real clamp on Long Island for Cantonese cuisine. Even after moving east Suffolk I make it a point to always visit, especially during the Lunar New Year's celebration. On selected weekends during the celebrations they have Chinese lion dance and martial art performances. Fortune Rad is ideal for family events, children will love the atmosphere. Very recommended to try the salt and pepper squid if you like Calamari, it is different from Italian Calamari, but super tasty, especially with a hot sesame oil sauce. The sum of weekends is a good way to spend time together. 10/10 cannot expect to take my own children one day.
I've been here for 20 years. It is like Chinatown or Flushing, but closer and simple parking. Usually, many Asian people eat here so you know it's good.
Wonderful Chinese restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisine. It is next to BJs and there is a huge parking lot so no difficulty to find a place. Great for long islanders because they don't have to go to Flushing and fight the traffic jams. Staff speak English and Chinese so that language will not be a barrier to non-Asian speaking. Menus are also in Chinese and English. You have courses, depending on the size of your party, before the menu for those who want a price-fix menu and do not want to get a la-car.
Dim Sum is good. Place is very busy at peak time, you might wait a bit longer time to get served. Overall is a great place to go if you want to try traditional dim sums.
