Przekaż informację zwrotnąA few weeks ago, I heard that the bagel shop had new ownership and that the bagels might have changed. This news was disappointing, as I was sad to think we wouldn't be able to swing by for our beloved bagels anymore, much like our occasional visits to Calda's in the area. Today, my husband had to go to a watch store at Tri-County to get batteries for some of his watches, and he decided to stop by the bagel shop to check if the rumors were true—turns out, they were! But there's no need to worry because the bagels are fantastic. He brought home a dozen, and we've been enjoying them all day long. First off, they're huge. Secondly, you can tell they're fresh. And most importantly, they taste incredible! They remind me of the bagels from Brooklyn and my days on TV—if you know, you know! I also heard that the name of the shop is going to change soon, so I’ll keep you posted on that when I make my next visit.
The specialty cream cheese was a disappointment, too. My wife used to love their jalapeño and cheddar cream cheese before the ownership change, but this version barely had any cheddar or jalapeño in it. She mentioned there were only two tiny pieces of jalapeño in the whole thing. The service was decent but slow, especially since it was not busy. It took a long time to slice and spread cream cheese on just two bagels. I ordered a French toast bagel with regular cream cheese, and while there was enough cream cheese on both, it just didn’t compare to what it used to be. It baffles me how a new owner could change a place that so many people loved and ruin it. All they needed to do was maintain the original quality. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. In conclusion, if it’s been a while since your last visit to Bageltown, I recommend taking my advice and staying away.
I visited based on recommendations from several friends who are Federal Officers and ended up feeling embarrassed when I served these bagels to my family. I had confidently told them I was bringing fresh bagels for breakfast, only to face the disappointing reality. Thankfully, truth-telling platforms like Yelp allow me to share my experience. I can’t help but think that my being a non-regular customer is why I received subpar product. What’s the benefit of treating new customers poorly? Nobody wins in this situation. You end up getting a one-star review, and I waste both time and money. It’s frustrating to think about. I know it’s just bagels, but it’s a matter of principle, considering that the product is central to their business. My advice to Bageltown of Levittown: Please do better. I could go on, but I’ll leave it at that with a chuckle. Ironically, one of my photos is even featured on the front of their business page. How amusing. Note: If this review is taken down, I will repost it.
This place is no longer bagel town of Levittown it's now called pantanos bagles every review you have read is true the bagles are like stale rocks at 6:30 am and 3.44 for a bagel with butter not worth the money don't waste your money like have go somewhere else this place will not be here long since they don't even make the bagles on site they ship them in from somewhere. I give this place zero stars worst ever
Things have changed and changed quickly! I miss the mom and pop nature of their food and business. Seems more commercialized now and smaller everything at higher prices. No onion pockets left by 9am? The only plus was that my bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel was ready in record time. It tasted great, a little saltier than usual and extra extra small bagel. Good luck to the new owners. There seem to be more options, better signage, faster service. I am not sure the value is still there for the prices. I will try some other places before coming back to this old favorite of mine.
