L'oeil Du Dragon Sushi - Lévis

Everything was stale. I ordered the chef's choice nigiri, and while I waited, I noticed another staff member taking rolls out of the fridge. They sliced a few pieces and then put the leftovers back in the fridge. When my nigiri finally arrived, the rice had three distinct textures, and the fish had two. It also had a faint fishy smell, and to be honest, I wouldn't have eaten it if I hadn't seen the worker munching on some while slicing mine!

The lunch menu is somewhat pricey, but it includes a drink. I enjoyed the General Tao plate, which was delicious despite its unconventional appearance. The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. They also use biodegradable alternatives for straws and take-out packaging, which I find impressive. I appreciate their commitment to being environmentally responsible!

Delicious sushi! To be honest, I was a bit skeptical when we first entered, as the place doesn’t seem very impressive. However, the incredible sushi quickly changed my mind. I’ve tried sushi in many places around the world, and L'Oeil Du Dragon has just secured a spot among my favorites. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Coming from BC, I found this sushi strange. The California roll we ordered tasted nothing like a California roll. The breading on the tempura was more like onion ring breading, and came with a spicy mayo for dipping, rather than the usual dipping sauce for tempura. The gyoza was also not very delicious. Would not return.
