We ate here twice this week while staying nearby. The menu is small which I prefer, and the food was very good. Chips were the best I've had for years, fish and steak tasty and raspberry panacotta to die for. My husband enjoyed the beer too.

Had a lovely meal there last night. Very friendly service and food was great-venison burger with delicious soft bun followed by chocolate brownie! Will go again.

Had two lovely meals on 21 24 February. Triple cooked chips are amazing! Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

This gastropub/restaurant is fantastic. The service is great, the flavors are fantastic, and the drinks are top-notch. I highly recommend it! Vegetarian options are available, although the best dishes on the menu do involve meat. However, I'm sure they would accommodate any dietary restrictions. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a single step here and there. The average price per person ranges from £30-40. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I recommend trying the Crispy Pig Skin dish.
