The Penny Coffee House - Lethbridge

This restaurant is truly a little slice of heaven. I've had the pleasure of both working here for several years and being a customer, and the atmosphere is fantastic. You’re welcomed at the door, and the staff treats you like a close friend. Eileen, the owner, is wonderful. The food is delicious, home-cooked fare that is worth every penny and more. I highly recommend trying one of their sandwiches; the pasta salad is incredible, and the baked goods are fresh and delectable. If you haven’t visited this place yet, go now—you won’t regret it!

This is my first visit to The Penny in a couple of years, and I had forgotten just how tasty and comforting the food is! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the art is beautiful!

I always enjoy visiting the Penny! My absolute favorite dessert is the Bakewell Tart, but if you're not a fan of overly sweet treats, I highly recommend the London Fog Cupcake. About a year ago, I was surprised with a gingerbread Penny that turned out to be two cookies baked together into one amazing SuperPenny. It was the best day ever!

Ive been coming here for years and it never fails to impress! Its been amazing to watch this business grow, but still stay true to its small town cafe roots.

Holy busy! Tables filled faster than they emptied (but that's a good thing). If you can get a table, this place has fantastic coffee. My macchiato was perfect. Comes with WiFi, a place to plug in, and terrific service. Would love to see you guys get a bigger space and couches to enjoy. A Lethbridge gem in my opinion.
