Harvey's - Lethbridge

I stopped in here for a bite to eat getter day and noticed that parking was fine and out front. The inside was tidy but not squeaky clean. I ordered a poutine to try their product. It actually was very very good.

The good. The place is clean and well organized. The bad. The quantity and quality as really lacking. The food is tasteless and small portion sizes. I have more than once eaten here then go somewhere else because i am still hungry.

Food here is average. Service Service is not awesome...parking is terrrable location location is easy to find

Fast service, I ordered a double bacon combo. I thought the burger was lacking in flavour. The place is new and clean. The fries were great. The staff are friendly.

I grew up on Harvey's and have likely eaten hundreds of their original burgers in my long life. I started enjoying their burgers at the Queensway West location in Toronto (which I think was one of the original three or four) back in the late 60s. I treasure that unique taste of the patty which I have never found accurately duplicated in any other fast food place.You cannot imagine my disappointment when the patty I had today at this location tasted like it could have come out of a Wendy's. The unique and wonderful taste was nowhere to be found.Maybe it was an off batch or something had screwed up along the way, and I fully intend to try it again in a couple of weeks to see if the taste is back. If indeed Cara have changed it, there goes another fond lifetime memory. Sigh...However, regardless of the exact patty taste, this is an excellent location which is spotlessly clean right down to the bathrooms and the older gentleman behind the counter is extremely courteous and friendly. So I heartily recommend it!
