Cora Breakfast & Lunch - Lethbridge

We went for a father 's day breakfast, the food was pretty good. Exception: Bacon was very cheap, breakfast places cannot afford to skimp on bacon or sausage, but a shameful number do it anyway. These looked and tasted like the chicken skin fake bacon and were very thin. Our server, Fern, was slow, a bit abrupt, and somewhat scattered. Almost left without taking someones order. She forgot 2 items on one order and 1 on every other order. When asked if an item was included with the meal, instead of answering, she cut us off mid sentence would you like some...? which confused us and made us nervous of double paying when the bill came or maybe at this location they try to trim the meals and hope customers don 't notice they 've paid for more? Another waiter helped us with something as we couldn 't find our waiter in the dining room. Pretty good food, but real bacon please and this one server needs real training and oversight until she gets it. Shes not a bad person just unskilled.

We waited more than two hours for our food, not one was even delivered except for our drinks. We even waited 20mins before our order gets taken. They didn't even bother to tell us it will take such a long time and why so. Food is good, but not worth the wait.

Our server needs training in customer service. At times she was definitely rude. Food is always good in CORA this is the first time in Cora Alberta not impressed by the service. Our server was the older of the two servers. Tea came without a cup.when asked she was rude. Asked hollandaise at the side got it on top of the eggs Asked for hot sauce.. they forgot I had to call and ask again. The restaurant had only like 4 tables. Looks like overworked server. Grumpy no smile. The male hostess was great. Cora please train your servers the importance of customer service, specially now that people cannot go out to eat.

If you're looking for different breakfast selections come here. Lots o choices including fresh fruit. Good sized portions. Out of 3 breakfasts in different restaurants we visited I enjoyed this the best, Service was slow considering it wasn't full when we arrived.

Good to see old faces and friends still great food and service one of our favorite place for brunch what else is there to say
