The Mermaid - Lesvos

I had the opportunity to dine at The Mermaid, my first restaurant experience in Greece, and it was a pleasant surprise. While not completely vegan, the restaurant offers options including meat, dairy, and fish, so be aware of that before visiting. The owners, a charming couple, are welcoming and accommodating. The menu features traditional vegan Greek dishes, as well as pizza and pasta that can be prepared vegan upon request. They use almond milk in creamy dishes, such as the mushrooms in cream sauce, and even have vegan cheese available for certain pizzas. The restaurant provides delicious food and a warm atmosphere, making it a recommended dining spot. Don't miss out on giving it a try!

The couple who runs the restaurant is very friendly. They offer traditional vegan Greek food, as well as options for vegan pizza and pasta upon request. This beachside restaurant is fantastic. On Sundays, they serve a delicious goat stew and you can relax on the beach beds. They offer both lunch and dinner. Wheelchair accessibility is available. The service is excellent, as is the food and atmosphere. Recommended dishes include the Kipfilet A La Crème and Griekse Salade. The price per person ranges from €10 to €15.

We stumbled upon a restaurant with live music in the evening. It was a popular spot with a good crowd, but the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend trying the choriatiki (Greek salad) and dolmadakia (rice in grape leaves). The only downside was that we forgot to order bread and it wasn't offered to us by the staff. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. It was a great place for a dinner outing, with prices ranging from €10-15 per person.

This authentic Greek restaurant by the sea has excellent service, delicious food, live music twice a week, comfortable sunbeds, reasonable prices, and a stunning sunset view from the terrace.
