The waiter took a half hour to ask us what we wanted to drink. The place was not crowded. Maybe 25 people max. He probably knew a Lott of the guests because he kept talking to them, local small talk maybe? Anyways I asked for a rose. He did not seem to understand me and kept asking Rouge? I told him no rouge but rose. Not red but pink. He still gave me a red wine instead of rose. I found this very odd. Rose is a French word is it not? We waited for almost 30 minutes and still no menu card. We had the intention to have a pizza. But we were fed up with this play. The waiter seemed more concerned about chattering with the locals then serving us. When paying for the drinks we had to another 20 minutes. Conclusion; A local restaurant which is fine but in my opinion the locals were the only focus point. Me and my family felt really like second hand costumers. Not acceptable in my opinion. We won't visit this restaurant ever again.

Stopped when driving to Aix les Bains, as a hungry car demanded feeding. Indoor and outdoor seating, about 100 covers. Outdoors not suitable when raining. Type of location It’s trying to be a kind of posh cafe. Parking at side and over the road. Nightclub oddly there is one above the restaurant. Reception walk through the tabac bar area to the restaurant. Service the table staff were polite and efficient. The old female owner at the till was grumpy and rude (didn’t even say goodbye). Menu a simple choice, with daily options on the board, but not seasonal food. You can tell it’s good, as the menu is laminated... Speed of delivery food came out quickly. Which was good for the workmen eating their lunch there. Quality of food average. Just average. Toilets clean and with disabled option. Flies there was lots of flies! A simple fly catcher would have worked and made the experience slightly more enjoyable. Would l go again? No. I’d rather eat a prepackaged sandwich from a petrol station.

We ate a meat and raw cheese plate and a pizza to accompany our bieres. It's simple, it's okay. The welcome is very warm.
