Seldom eaten such good lunch. The menu contains many different tartars tasting heavenly. The wonderful atmosphere of the place and the authenticity of the kindness expressed by the waiter made this a wonderful experience

Took two business clients for a typical Swiss dinner of fillet perche. We'd heard this restaurant served a good plate. However, in all honesty, for the price of CHF 40 per plate, it was not very good and represented very poor value for money. I had better in Lutry the weekend before. Overall our bill came to CHF 177.80 for 2 x 1 DL Chardonne wine CHF (4.20 each), a small 2.5 DL beer (CHF 4.20), 2 litres of flat water CHF 9.20 per litre !!!), two deserts (CHF 11.50 / pce) and a cafe at CHF 3.80. With tip total = CHF 190.00 Would I go back ? No.

We often go to Francine for Moules. We lived in Belgium where the mussels are the best, but these preparations are not far behind. There are at least 10 different preparations on offer. (From CHF 27 to 30). We have tried 5 and they are all excellent. The classical "eau vin blanc' is one of the favourites.In the off-season for mussels, we often have one of the best horse steaks in the area. They also serve an excellent Entrecote.In the summer there is a pleasant shaded area under the trees for outside dining. They are quite busy outside, so better reserve.A good, honest place with a pleasant local cafe atmosphere.

The outside is very nice when it is warm and sunny. Try the "entrecôte de cheval" - it is delicious. The service has been friendly and fast. Good choice of local wines.
