La Becanerie - Les Gets

It’s always good to try lots of places when you’re away from home. After all, why stay in one place when you can experience many places? However, sometimes, very, very rarely, you find a place that makes you feel so at home that it would be crazy to go anywhere else. That was how me and my son felt at La Becanerie on our recent trip to Les Gets. Melisa, Ben and Co made us so welcome, made us such great food and did both in such a personal way that we kept coming back until we went home. The food was amazing. We loved everything we ate (and we ate a lot! and all we heard from other guests was similarly glowing praise, no matter whether they ate veggie, vegan or meat. What’s more they have an incredible selection of wonderful beers and ales, which they know intimately and can advise on endlessly. I’ve been snowboarding in Les Gets for around 20 years and was thinking it was about time I spent more time in other resorts. I’m not sure I’ll bother now I found La Becanerie

Very good home food with a large choice of beer. Nice staff!

Great time. Welcoming, good mood, good atmosphere and good music, fast service, very good value quality price. The children have feasted with the wards. And we with the Genepi To do it again when we return to the Gets.

Always enjoyable and with good beer (IPA from the Brasserie du Giffre excellent). I recommend!

This is the place if you’re looking for the full MTB-bros kinda vibe. Food is rather ok but far from spectacular. Service is confusing between snack and non-snack, still don’t get it to be honest.
