We had an amazing experience at the Front Porch yesterday. I thought that a reservation would not be required and was not correct for prime dinner hours. We were offer a high top in the bar area but went to the bar instead and that turned out to be perfect. The bartender was very gracious, friendly and made fanastic featured drinks that you should try on your own. Sal, the Chef, prepared mahi mahi with crab imperial that is to die for. That was on top of homemade cabbage and bacon along with potatoes. My wife had New York strip with crab scampi that was very good. All was delivered by Sal and when he returned to the bar area, we complimented him on the awesome meals. All other employees were very friendly as they chatted with us as the created custom drinks for their patrons. I can't wait to back back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thanks Sal.
Burger was in the top 5 of the best I've had nationwide. Yeah I know its hard to believe. Git it medium-rare and it was nicely (and gently) charred on the outside (see pic). Also had mushrooms put on it. Flavor was surprisingly just right. My friend got the salmon-based salad and it looked amazing (see pic). Service was a little iffy.
Delicious bites, excellent service in a homey atmosphere. The downtown area is cute too. Make sure you check out the SOF market around the corner.
I had my daughter's baby shower in the upstairs room. It was absolutely perfect. The server, Kaylee, was so attentive and helpful. We had a mimosa bar that never ran out of juices and champagne and a marvelous buffet. The food was excellent, especially the quiche. They exceeded my expectations and everyone had a wonderful time.
