Whataburger - Leon Valley

Sad I’m making this review because the food was really good but the experience wasn’t even 1 star. So we go through the drive Thu and there is 3 cars on the left and only one on the right *at the speaker already* so we go to the right … it takes 30 minutes just to pay for our food bc to start the person in front of us ordered a lot no hate to them pero if you know their food is going to take longer pull them off to the side bc most of the drive Thu customers are on their break anyways SECONDLY it turns out to employee lost are order in the system whatever but the worst part I call the store to tell the manager hey we’ve been waiting for some time now we haven’t even paid we couldn’t even leave if we wanted to bc the person in front of us and she’s like “it’s only me I’ll let them know” Riiiiiight and I didnt get a Fork for my BUFFALO wings if it was any other flavor maybe I wouldn’t have mentioned not getting a fork pero we all know it gets messy.

Love me some Whataburger, got so excited to see this location finally open. I was so disappointed. I placed an order on the app to pickup in the store, app quoted 8 minutes. What was supposed to be 8 minutes, turned into 45 minutes. I had to ask 4 different times about my order, “we’re backed up”. They weren’t giving orders to those that were dining in, who placed their orders at the counter or the to-go orders. They were prioritizing the drive-thru more than anything. They weren’t “backed up” they were disorganized and didn’t know what they were doing. On top of the long wait, they got our drinks wrong. It took them an additional 10 minutes to get me my drinks for my order, just to get them wrong. Terrible service. Terrible customer service. Guys with beards not wearing hair nets. Employees just standing around in the kitchen. Absolutely disappointing and won’t be returning to this location unless management can do better. I don’t know what happened to this location, other than the remodel, but it’s tanked. Super disappointing. I’d rather just go to the Wurzbach location or even the Culebra location at this point.
