I am a huge fan of Japanese food and definitely Sato is one of the best restaurants I ever try. With an spectacular service a great atmosphere and great presentation in the dishes, Sato is simply the best Japanese restaurant in Leon
Sato is the best Japanese restaurant in town. The decor of the restaurant is great and the food is amazingly great! Try the Roca shrimp! My favorite dish!
It was a tasty surprise to dinner in this restaurant based on Japanese fusion kitchen. The dishes in one word were excellent and interestingly flavored.. The atmosphere just great for business, socials or romantics. This one restaurant has earn a good place in my worldwide abes favorite restaurant list. Try the huachinango fish carpaccio with garlic and olive oil, try the esparrayaki beef filled with sparragus on rice bed) Try the Shrimps midori in light tempura and cococonut dressing. Don't miss it !
As for food it is quite all right, but not really original Japanese, rather adopted to Mexican customers with a choice of tacos, etc. Prices reflect more the location than the food quality... But the service is way below the standard for such price and location! Apart from regular complains i have seen on tripadvisor, like it being slow, food not being brought at the same time, etc., which we also experienced, I could add a few extra points which need improvement. I have asked for wine menu first, when trying to order the wine i chose (by a glass i was told it is not available, neither was the next one i asked. Then the waiter told me that actually none of the wines from the wine menu were there, as the menu was very old (Two questions: how is it possible in a good restaurant and why did he offer me the wine menu in the first place? . Then i asked him if he could bring me a glass of white wine (fresh, fruity from whatever was actually available. He did bring me one a red. So i had to ask him to correct that, ended up drinking bad wine and paying too much for it (as obviously it was not from the menu so no way to say if it was actually the price . After our dinner we also tried ordering a cocktail, which was again wrongly made ... hm... twice. So frankly overall impression our waiter did not exactly listen to us and/or did not care to do his job.
