The place was only a quarter full, so we were able to find two seats at the nearly empty bar. One of the bartenders was loud and focused on the couple next to us the whole time, completely ignoring us. The other bartender eventually took our drink order, but took a long time to check on us. We didn't receive menus, but I saw in a previous review that they have a vegan menu. We weren't greeted properly, only asked what type of water we wanted. I requested tap water and it was brought to us in a carafe, which was a nice touch. However, I had to wait 20 minutes to order a drink because our server was busy chatting with the staff. When we were finally able to order food, our server was increasingly rude and condescending, despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. The male server was friendly and attentive. The pizza was delicious, but the salad was just okay. After spending $50 on a glass of wine, a salad, and an amazing pizza, I was so disappointed by the disrespectful treatment that I left only a 10% tip, which is not something I have ever done before. I would not return to this restaurant because of the rude staff, which is a shame because I will definitely remember that delicious pizza.
The buffet offers a wide variety of delicious, abundant dishes for all-you-can-eat.
I crave this gluten-free pizza every week! Even though I'm not strictly gluten-free, I have to admit that this is hands down the best gluten-free crust I've ever had. It's so good that you would never even know it's gluten-free. I love that they offer two gluten-free options, and I went with the thicker crust which still had the perfect thin texture. The cocktails, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful as well.
This was one incredible pizza shop! They serve Neapolitan pizza and they have a vegan menu with tons of great options. The pizzas are cooked in a brick over at high temps (900° is what we heard) so don’t be surprised if the pizza has a few charred spots. It’s normal and typical of the style. They’re about 12 inches in size and good as a full meal if you’re hungry. The restaurant itself is charming, well decorated, and clean. It’s not very big, but it still feels nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and pleasant with every interaction. It wasn’t very busy on a Sunday afternoon and our party was seated right away. Our food didn’t take long either, just about 15 minutes for our 4 pizzas. My wife and I split a salad and they kindly split it into two plates without us even asking and I appreciated that. The pear and Gorgonzola salad was refreshing and light , well dressed, and added a nice brightness before we dove into any pizza. We ordered both the Bianca and the Pepperoni they were absolutely heavenly. The dough and the sauce are the perfect compliment to the wonderful toppings. Both of the pizzas balanced sweet and savory flavors and all of the ingredients were fresh. This is better than any Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had. Our friends had 2 of the vegan pizzas and gave similarly glowing reviews for the margherita and the tartufo. Making a beautiful pie like these is not easy and this place absolutely knocked it out of the park.Vegetarian options: There is an entire vegan menu that is similar to the main menu. They have appetizers and pizzas on this menu with a large selection of toppings and options.Parking: There was plenty of free street parking on the same block as the restaurant. They also have a spot for carry out orders to pull up so they don’t have to search for a spot.
Flavorful pizza, friendly staff, and a great dinner option in downtown Lenox. We happened upon Pizzeria Boema when plans to go elsewhere fell through. Their cleverly placed outdoor heater caught our attention and drew us in and we are happy our original plans did not pan out because our dinner and evening was much better than we anticipated. The decor is stylish, but not over done while the menu includes many traditional options as well as several creative combinations as well.We have the cheese garlic bread, which is really a mini pizza. Served with marinara sauce, the appetizer was a great place to start. We followed with a pepperoni pizza that is drizzled with a spicy honey flavorful and not at all sweet this hit all the right notes.Though busy, staff were attentive and did not seem stressed even after children at the next table over spilled soda on the seat and floor. We loved the humorous letter in the wash room, which shows an appreciation for the local community. We do wonder why no insects have made it onto the menu though (read letter in the attached he’d photos). They do a large take out business as well.Kid friendliness: Their is a kids menu and the staff were very accommodating and understanding of children, even after they made a mess
