Smoothie King - Lenexa

I love Smoothie King. I just don't recommend this location. The employees aren't consistent about blending the smoothies with enough ice to give the product that thick frozen consistency that makes them great. It's hit or miss at the store on 95th. When I'm spending that much on a smoothie I don't want the 1st sip to taste like it's already been sitting out for 20 min. Yuck!

They make great smoothies. Seems like everyone there is working hard.

I am writing this follow up review on a different account, but back in February I bought a smoothie from this location and it turned out really terrible (partly my fault for not knowing how to modify the smoothie properly, but the employees didn?t realize what I told them didn?t make sense). I was really pleased when the owner gave me their phone number so I could get a replacement smoothie, but disappointingly enough, the message I sent to them was left on read, and no one followed up with me again. If you are going to offer someone a replacement, I seriously recommend following through with that! It has been 4 months? Won?t be recommending this location to anyone! The one on 135th and Metcalf is my go to no matter what!

I wish someone would?ve explained to me that the thing I ordered didn?t make any sense because this turned out really gross? I also asked for a foam cup so that?s annoying

Great alternatives for meal replacements with lots of flavors and options. We went in around lunch time and didn?t have too long of a wait. Well worth the money. If you?re a fan of peanut butter, you can add that in to take away the fear of a powder taste.
