Shack Breakfast Lunch - Lenexa

I've eaten at The Shack multiple times and it's always great. If you plan to go during the typical busier times, I suggest you reserve your place in line online.

If only the food was as good as the menu. The extensive menu is loaded with funny and cleverly named food and drink items. Unfortunately wife and l were disappointed with our actual meals. I had the l ️Chorizo omelet and wife had Starchy&Cluck. Omelet was overcooked, dry, bland and was barely filled with the menu listed fillings and toppings. There are a ton of menu items. As much as I really want to love this place I don't. Very few healthy or vegetarian combinations. A breakfast and lunch place should serve lattes, odd that they don't. Very average pancakes.

My only disappointment at the Shack was no marker to add my scribbles to the wall. Everything else was great. including our server Emily. Don't let the name or scribbled walls fool you.

Great spot for breakfast! The Iguana Huevo Ranchero was just what the doctor ordered!
