Daime Food Brasil - Lençóis

Vegetal food is the perfect place to enjoy flavorful vegetarian dishes! I tried the Chapa Vegetariano- Palmito de Jaca and was blown away by the assortment of grilled vegetable served on a sizzling skillet. Combined with rice, farofa, and a special sauce, my tastebuds were...beyond thrilled with this healthy, flavorful, and filling dish! I have never encountered a dish that uses the palmito of the jack fruit. I have never tried jack fruit before and was nervous because it is known for a strong taste. However, the owner was really kind and explained that the palmito is part of the jack fruit but doesn't have a similar taste. He encouraged me to try a one of a kind dish only served in Bahia, and he was right. He created this amazing dish on his own and it is one of my favorite meals here in Bahia. Absolutely would recommend!

A beautiful find with delicious vegan and vegetarian options! I came across this restaurant by chance, as I was after something a little healthier than red meat or fried food. The owner, Patricia was a delight and prepared for me a delicious dinner of Moqueca...da Palmeito de Jaca! If you are a solo traveler (like me) you can ask for half a portion of Moqueca, as usually it's for people. The juices are a must too! Everything was super delicious and you felt right at home in the surroundings of a typical Bahian kitchen! Beijos Pati

Had the best time having dinner at Daime Food. The staff are the loveliest I met and the food was delicious. We ordered a vegan moqueca (made with jackfruit) and it was super tasty. If you are staying in Lencois I highly recommend a visit...there.

This place offers a good range of veggie and vegan food as well as regular dishes. Nice atmosphere. I enjoyed my field banana in cashew source served with rice. Good selection of fresh juices. Recommended.

The food was really good. They have a lot of different meals, also a separate menu for vegetarians. Even though I am not a vegetarian, I tried the stroganoff with jaca which was surprisingly good and extraordinarily. Good service, nice people (Patricia). Recommendable
